Politics of the NCAA
The politics of college football and the NCAA is very apparent by the amount of money the athletes can make for the universities and the NCAA. While the athletes are in college they are unable to make any money or take any form of compensation which in turn frees up that money to be used by the NCAA at their discretion. Universities don't want the system to change because then they would have less money coming in and more money going to the athletes. The football programs for major schools are money making machines and neither the NCAA or the schools themselves want to make a change.
