Step Brothers
Step Brothers is a cinematic masterpiece. With its complex themes and undertones Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly complement one another perfectly. Alright, maybe not. The main point of the movie was just to watch the progression of these two step brothers who are now 35 and still act as if they are 11. They can only function with the help of their parents but when they are kicked out of the house they have to fend for themselves and grow up. The plot of the movie is not the most important part because most of the meat of the movie is the conversations and physical altercations that Ferrell and Reilly get into. Step Brothers is a stereotypical story of how two underdogs rise to the occasion to marginally improve their lives. The progression of the characters and all the havoc they cause in that process is the main reason why I and so many others enjoyed this movie.
